TIEMS is building up a global organisation with chapters around the world which is supporting TIEMS International. TIEMS aim is:

TIEMS Regional Directors are responsible for initiating and follow up local and regional TIEMS activity and to stimulate to the establishment of TIEMS Chapters in their region.
The following TIEMS Chapters are formally approved by TIEMS Board:
- Romania Chapter

The chapters next in line for formally approval are South East Europe, South East Asia, Japan and Turkey.
An initiative is also taken by Naill Momani in Jordan for establishing a TIEMS Middle East Chapter, and for those interested can see the invitation here!
The Chapters will be responsible for the local TIEMS activity, however supported by TIEMS International.
All members are members of TIEMS International, but belongs to the Chapter in their region.
If TIEMS Chapter activity is of interest in your country or region, please, contact TIEMS Regional Director for your region or TIEMS Director for Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIG's) and they will help out with the process of formalization and start up TIEMS activity.
